Community News: Panama City Rescue Mission’s Festival of Trees

VIE is so proud to sponsor this special event! Festival of Trees: The Greatest Gift of All is a week long charity event organized by the Panama City Rescue Mission. This is such a wonderful organization to celebrate this holiday season. Join us this week!

The Panama City Rescue Mission is proud to host the 8th Annual Festival of Trees: The Greatest Gift of All, November 29 through December 2 at the Marina Civic Center in Panama City, Florida.

This popular event has become a family Christmas tradition and enables local artists and designers to design beautiful Christmas items for charity. The items are judged in competition and made available for auction. Visitors can enjoy the sights and sounds of the season during special mini-events (by invitation only, please call 481-1093 for an invitation) or during the General Admission. All proceeds help Bethel Village, the Rescue Mission’s home for recovering homelss women and families.

Additionally, the Mission will host a “Lunch with Santa” sponsored by Innovations Federal Credit Union. This fieldtrip, for our school’s homeless children, allows them to enjoy beautiful trees, learn about the history of Christmas, meet Santa and receive gifts. What a great way to ring in the Christmas season, while supporting worthwhile causes, right here in your own town!

Gala guests can hear inspiring testimonies, participate in the live auction, tour the trees, and enjoy the musical talents of saxophonist Chris Godber.

Bay County Chamber Business After Hours 5:30 – 7:00 p.m.

Wednesday, November 30:

Lunch with Santa 10:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.

Ladies Tea 2:00 – 4:00 p.m.

Gala is a catered event that will feature a Live Auction and music by Chris Godber.

Friday, December 2:

General Admission 10:00 a.m. – 9:00 p.m.

Open to public featuring our Bakery, free kids activities, and a”secret shop” for children.

Bidding Closes 8:00 p.m.

Playhouse winner will also be announced.

Purchase General Admission Tickets: $5 Adult,  $3 Child,  $15 *Family

*Family tickets for families with 5-8 members.
