At a loss for wardrobe options to all the Christmas events filling up your agenda? Never fear, VIE is here (sorry, we couldn’t resist). Our favorite holiday trend is just the right amount of sparkle. Sequins aren’t just for New Years anymore, although we’ll wear them then, too, and they’re surprisingly versatile from day to night. Keep reading for a few easy ideas to bring a little shine into your holiday attire:

How to Style:
A sequined dress is the perfect option for any form of holiday cocktail party, but can also be dressed down by tossing a chic black blazer or relaxed structured denim jacket into the mix. Or, have a little black dress that you’re longing to re-invent? Try investing in a sequined blazer or bolero jacket for a fresh new feel to an old favorite.
A sequined skirt or pants can also be worn as both cocktail attire or slightly more relaxed. Pair each of the above with a cream silk blouse and heels for a dressy affair, or don with a relaxed chambre button up or cozy sweater for easy glamour.
Speaking of sweaters, mix your daywear with your nightwear by selecting a sweater adorned with a sequined pattern. Pair the above with jeans and boots, or with black cigarette pants and pumps for a slightly dressier feel.
Sequined accessories are an easy way to incoporate a little sparkle into your holiday attire. A sequined clutch or heel adds instant glamour to an otherwise classic ensemble and can be worn over and over again. Or, dress up your button-up by adding a sequined collar to make it seem like a whole new top.
