Wanted: VIE Contributors

As 2011 comes to a close, we on the creative team at VIE are looking to expand our voice to include, well, you in 2012! We’re looking for blog contributors to be our partner in helping publish original content to this very site. Looking to pad your resume or gain internship experience? As a VIE blog contributor, you’ll be part of an online publishing team cranking out entertaining, original content for a vast readership in 2012. Looking to promote your own website or blog? By partnering and writing for VIE, your blog will receive a link back within the content of the VIE blog post, generating your own new traffic.
There are a few specifications for being a VIE blogger, but they’re simple and concise. Interested? Send your website or a sample of your writing to Ainsley@viezine.com with “Blog Contributor” in the subject line. We’ll then email you back with all the guidelines for being a blog contributor.
Also be sure to specify which topic you’re most interested in covering. Interested in more than one? List them in preferential order and we’ll review and match as we see fit. Topics are as follows:
• The Art of Life: This feature focuses on entertaining, happiness, celebration, and anything that promotes a happy, stress-free life.
• Bricks and Mortar: This feature focuses on architecture, home design, interior design, decorating
• For the Love of Food: This feature focuses on recipes, restaurants of interest, chef’s of interest
• Living Green: This feature provides tips with living in an environmentally conscious way.
• Voyager: This is a travel feature. It focuses on different experiences from places across the map. The content can be informational, an experience, a review, or
• Health: This feature focuses on all things health related: fitness, prevention, information, healthy foods, etc.
• The Written Word: This feature focuses on words. Book reviews, up-and-coming authors, typography discussions, calligraphy and other word-related art
• Through The Lens: This feature focuses on photography. Whether it be a breath-taking image or featuring the work of an up-and-coming photographer, quality images are imperative to this feature.

What would I need to do to be a VIE blogger? Give me the details and I will let you know. Is it a fulltime job and will I get paid for it?
