If you can’t tell by our daily shout outs to our beautiful home in Northwest Florida, we really love this area. That’s why we just love keeping you updated with the happenings in our neck of the woods.
Seaside’s Crush Wine Bar, one of our favorite restaurants around, has announced that Kevin Moran has joined Harbor Restaurant Group as a managing partner of Crush. In this position, Moran will be responsible for handling management, staff development and customer relations efforts as well as overseeing the daily operations of the restaurant. Kevin is a well-known veteran restaurateur with over 30 years experience in the hospitality industry. He has traveled extensively, including overseas, and uses his knowledge and experience to maintain the integrity and high standards in developing professional life.
Kevin Moran was previously the general manager of Seagar’s Prime Steaks & Seafood located at the Hilton Sandestin Beach Golf Resort & Spa, he was awarded the designation of Certified Wine Specialist by the Society of Wine Educators and is one of the regions only certified sommeliers. Kevin has created and opened fine dining restaurants, developed award winning wine programs and educated thousands of food and beverage professionals.
“Having run fine dining restaurants has been incredibly rewarding and has provided years of pleasure, but this new venture gives me an opportunity to cater to a broader audience of those that would like to enjoy a delicious lunch or dinner or an incredible glass of wine with a cheese or charcuterie plate.” says Moran. “We will have an opportunity to teach and expose our guests to incredible wine and food with a team of wine enthusiasts to guide you along the way. Come Drink, Eat and Discover!”

This looks like a great place. We’re planning a trip to Seaside, FL in early April — I’ll have to take the family to this one or maybe even better, gather some of the mom’s while the kids (high school boys) are out & about and try it for ourselves! Looks like fun either way.
