Ansel Adams Photos Unveiled!

[via NPR.org]
A series of never before shown photographs taken by iconic black-and-white photographer Ansel Adams have recently been uncovered at the headquarters for the Department of the Interior. The murals were commissioned under the Roosevelt administration in 1936 when the headquarters for the DOI were constructed. However, the project got shelved with the start of World War II and the prints were stored away in the National Archives. The 26 recently discovered images created more than 70 years ago are now on display in a special exhibit at DOI. Click here to find out more and view additional photographs.
