The annual Scenes of South Walton Art Show is upon us! This year marks the 12th anniversary of this fundraising art exhibition at the Hidden Lantern Gallery in Rosemary Beach, Florida, featuring a select group of 22 artists from the local art landscape.

Beyond Glory tells the story of eight Medal of Honor recipients. Award-winning actor and playwright Stephen Lang (Gettysburg, Tombstone, Avatar) portrays each of the men and gives a firsthand account of the events which resulted in each award. The play’s scope spans World War II to the Vietnam War.

Two performances will be held at the Mattie Kelly Arts Center on November 23 at 7:30 pm and November 24 at 2:30 pm. Tickets are $28 for adults and $14 for children 12 and under. Participating in this event are nearly a dozen selected plein air artists who will travel to Seaside from various parts of the country. While nearly half hail from different cities in Florida, some are coming from as far away as Kansas City, Mo., Rockport, Mass., and Pittsburgh, Pa.

New York playwright Rich Orloff, continues to entertain local audiences with his play, Romantic Fools, at The Seaside Repertory Theatre’s main stage this Fall. The show opens on October 2 at 7:30 p.m. with performances on October 2-4, 10-12, 16-19 and 23-25
