You’ve seen it everywhere lately, right? Navy and white stripes with a dash of red — nautical emblems and boating shoes, gingham dresses, seersucker shorts, and even bow ties are making their way onto the fashion scene for the summer.


Our July/August issue will be our Wedding Issue and we are already excited about it. This special issue will feature bridal must-haves, wedding planning tips, and will showcase many stylish weddings. We love new beginnings.


The groundhog allegedly saw his shadow today, which means six more weeks of “winter” for everyone (we here at the beach aren’t sure we actually believe in the alleged season called winter). So if chilly temps will be with us into the early spring, what’s the quickest way to brighten up your wardrobe?Jewelry, of course. Which is lucky for you, because we just so happen to be giving away a piece from our favorite up-and-comer, Heavy Metal by Lauren Weiner, in case you haven’t heard.


Mary Jane Parrish, an avid tennis player, yoga enthusiast and woman on-the-go, wanted fun, comfortable active wear that could take her from Pilates class to a luncheon. As a result, Mary Jane developed the Skite!


One of my favorite parts about attending Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week is now seeing all the runway styles we loved so much pop up in ad campaigns for Spring 2012. Similar to how a designer reflects the line in the production of their runway show, the ad campaigns for different lines give a fresh perspective of the new line.
