Astronaut Frank Culbertson, Expedition 3 Commander, shares his experiences aboard the International Space Station (ISS) during the terrorist attacks on the United States on Sept. 11, 2001, in the most recent edition of the Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex “Tell Me a Story” video series. Unless you’re afraid of heights, you can’t resist climbing up to Stairway to Heaven’s crow’s nest, which offers a bird’s eye view spanning above Seaside’s sea of tin roofs and white wooden cupolas that resemble wedding cake toppers. To the south, sea oat-covered dunes shadow the Gulf of Mexico’s sugar-white shores…

These past four weeks have gone by so fast, and we are already itching to visit the Big Apple again. Our video producer, Benjamin, put together this little video of some of the highlights from our trip. We can’t wait to see these styles on the streets come September!

Our hearts still go out to the families, friends, policemen, firefighters, volunteers, airline personnel and every other person who suffered losses and grief from the attack.
